Ladies and Gentleman

As our 2023 Academic year draws to a close we have much to celebrate and many happy memories. Firstly, I would like to acknowledge the outstanding leadership of our former College Council Chairperson Dr Raymond Patel and all former Council Members over the past five years. As you may know their term of office ended on the 09th November 2023.

I would also like to thank the parents for entrusting us with the responsibility of impacting on the lives and future of their children (my dear students).

Most importantly our students have enjoyed another fabulous year. They have excelled in so many fields-it is impossible to list them all. I have attended many celebration events and I have listened in awe as their achievements have been described. These achievements have been in their academic studies, sport, music, the arts to name just a few and we are justly proud of them.
We express our gratitude to our strategic partners for partnering with Maluti TVET
College in various ways. The partnerships had been great in influencing the role of our College in society through advancing skills development. We, therefore, value their support, it was awesome.

I am immensely proud of the hard work that has been demonstrated by the staff of Maluti TVET College over the past years, their contributions in different ways had ensured the achievement of the College Vision and Mission Statement of transforming lives through excellent services and success in all activities performed has been the core pillar of strength.

Our students have just finished writing their final examinations and lecturers have also just completed marking. Thank you for the hard work displayed at the campus marking centres – it did not go unnoticed!

As we bid this year goodbye, rest assured that all planning for 2024 is already in place, setting of priorities to build upon the successes of the College so that we can also improve further in excellent performance- has been finalised. We should always seek to do better; to challenge our students to set the highest standards and achieve their ambitious goals.

I extend my warm wishes for a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to you and your loved ones. May this Christmas be the brightest, happiest and most prosperous for you. Rest well with all your loved ones, enjoy the festive season and fulfilled rest, memories and aspirations for the future. Above all, may the good Lord grant everyone good health. Travel safe to all various destinations.
I look forward to welcoming you all back, refreshed, for what will be an exciting, new 2024 academic year.

Happy Merry Christmas & Prosperous New Year
